Living Resourcefully Programme – Week 4 – Mai i Kurawaka – Reindigenising Ikura (Period)

This program aims to empower families to embrace sustainable living by teaching practical skills, cultural knowledge and offering community support. Through hands-on workshops, you will learn to reduce household waste, save money and reconnect with eco-friendly traditions.
Every Tuesday for 6 weeks from 10 am – 12 pm, starting Tuesday, 10th of February 2026
Week 4 will focus on:
- For wahine, by wahine – join us for a wānanga that honours menstruation
- Learn about traditional and modern knowledge of period care
- Take home ‘Ikura products’ to put your learning into action
